The first and most important thing you should know, and which is rarely understood, is that there are two types of Chepe trains: the "Regional" and the "Express". Note:If you plan to buy your tickets in Creel, take into consideration that at the Chepe Train box office they do NOT accept payments with cash (card only). Also consider the opening hours at the box office in Creel, which are the following:

• Closed Monday

• Tuesday: 8:00-15:00

• Wednesday: 9:00-16:00

• Thursday: 9:00-17:00

• Friday: 9:00-16:00

• Saturday: 9:00-14:00

• Sunday: 8:00-9:00 and 16:00-18:00
